MID 128 SID 22 Engine Speed Sensor Type of fault: FMI 3 FMI Description: • Voltage above normal, or shorted to high source Fault Condition: • Missing Signal from Engine Speed Sensor • Open in the Engine Speed Sensor Circuit • Short to battery in the Engine Speed Sensor Circuit • Short to ground in the Engine Position Timing Sensor Circuit Possible Symptoms: • Increased engine start time • Vehicle may be in limp home mode • Loss of engine power Possible Cause: • Faulty Engine Speed Sensor harness • Faulty Crank Sensor mounting
