Inspect airhorn solenoid
Locate solenoids pack for air horn, suspension lower, fifth wheel slide & differential lock. Located behind transmission upper cross member. The air horn solenoid is located on the driver side (first one) with a a red air hose connected to it . Next to it air bag suspension, then differential lock, and fifth wheel slide Solenoid red wire is always powered, steering wheel switch supply ground. Check for red wire voltage against a ground. If no voltage available, you have a broken wire. Also, check if you have ground available at black wire against another ground with horn activated When air horn activated, you should have 12 v between air horn solenoid terminals. If voltage is supplied but solenoid does not click Replace air horn solenoid Also, if you want to guarantee that horn is not the problem, disconnect disconnect air horn red line & plug it into one of the 3 solenoids. Go to your truck & activate air bag suspension, fifth wheel slide, or differential lock. Your air horn should activate.
