Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor (IMT): Rationality Monitor The Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is monitored by comparing it with a calculated Intake Manifold temperature based on intake manifold pressure and ambient air temperature. When the evaluation time has elapsed the average difference is compared to an upper and a lower limit resulting in a low temperature and high temperature fault.
